RHEO-STAUB User ManualAbstract:RHEO-STAUB is a 2-D Finite Element Program which runs under Windows-95. It is tailored to solve problems in Geomechanics. Ist power is based on a nearly arbitrary material model which may be defined by the user at input time. Thereby, it is possible to take into account anisotropy, visco-plasticity, kinematic hardening and softening etc.
RHEO-STAUB is suitable for the computation of plate structures under plane stress or plane strain conditions of arbitrary geometry and loading conditions according to the Finite Element method. A special feature of the program is based on the possibility to account for a variety of material models according to the users requirements. Flexibility of modeling is achieved by use of mechanical models, defined by a suitable combination of a few basic elements which idealize elastic, plastic, viscous and swelling behavior. Due to a special, civil engineering-oriented input language, the data input is easy to manage and extremely lucid. It is carried out with any text editor, thereby facilitating parameter analyses with a minimal expenditure. Great importance has been attached to a comprehensive graphical representation of the results. This is handled automatically by the program, thus enabling an easy interpretation of the resulting, sometimes rather voluminous amount of data. FTP server (2.4 MB). This version serves for both as an update for registred users with a dongle, and as a fully functional version (but with limited allowed problem size) for unregistred users. Further Information:Date published: 1997 |
